Charlotte Frey enters eternal glory

Charlotte Frey, the widow of Rev. Conrad Frey, president of Michigan Lutheran Seminary from 1950 to 1966, joined the choirs of heaven to sing praises to Jesus, our newborn King, on Tuesday evening, December 22, 2009.  From MLS, the Freys moved to New Ulm, Minnesota, where Pastor Frey served as president of Dr. Martin Luther College until his retirement.

Mrs. Frey, whose maiden name was also Frey, was a graduate of Michigan Lutheran Seminary in the class of 1931.  She is survived by a son and daughter and their families; a sister, Marjorie Frey, Saginaw; and two brothers, Pastor Em. George Frey, Tacoma, Washington and Rev. Em. Edwin Frey, from the Detroit, Michigan area.
