Michigan Lutheran Seminary is accredited through the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA) program.  WELSSA is a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation.  Michigan Lutheran Seminary is also licensed as a boarding high school by the Michigan Department of Education.
